Neck Pumpkin Seeds
The neck pumpkin is an ancestor of the common butternut squash. It is buff orange and very tasty - sweet like a butternut but so much bigger! They can grow up to 30 pounds and most of that is in the long, curved-seed-free neck.
Start in pots in Spring or direct-seed once the soil warms in May. This one needs a lot of room and sun! Not bothered by squash vine borers.
