Mandan Red Sweet Corn Seeds
$ 1.50
This corn has been grown by the Mandan tribe of the northern Great Plains since Pre-Columbian times. It isn’t sweet like the corn like we know today, but closer to the roasting ears of old. It grows 3’-4’ tall in full sun, and may send off multiple stalks or “tillers”. The plump, wrinkled, reddish-orange kernels make wonderful parched corn or can be ground.
