Join Jerome Bias for a special EVENING edition of our lecture series. Bias will be presenting his immense knowledge and study of the work of Thomas Day, a free Black cabinetmaker of the antebellum era. Bias has been a scholar of Day’s life and work for the last twenty years. His work has been presented for the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Aert Museum, Winterthur Museum, and the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts (MESDA).
