Inventory Counted Cross Stitch Kit
As early as 1711, laundry buildings were constructed separate from living areas in some homes of wealthy Americans. When soiled items were sent for cleaning, an inventory pillow, the inspiration for this adapted kit, could be used to account for them. The lady of the house would insert a pin through the number corresponding to the quantity of each item. When the cleaned items were returned, they would be checked against the pinned numbers. This kit can be easily adapted into a small pillow.
