This yellow spencer jacket with drawstring neckline and waistline from the DAR Museum's Agreeable Tyrant exhibit can be yours! This class is taught by Mackenzie Scholtz who drafted the pattern from the original.
Be the first to have access to this wonderful new pattern from Fig Leaf Patterns to be released later in the summer. This hands-on class will help you fit a first muslin to your own body. Class includes pattern and sewing instruction booklet, a quick review of embroidery used on the back of the spencer, and help from the instructor during class and afterward.
The original was made from a yellow silk taffeta and lined in linen, drawstrings made from silk ribbon ties.

2 to 4 yards cheap sturdy cotton fabric for fitting muslin
Option to bring to class:
2 yards fashion fabric
2 yards linen
Silk embroidery thread
4 yards narrow silk ribbon or string for ties
